Modifications STC’s and minors

EASA certification Part 21.J DOA (Design Organization Approval) allows us to design and approve minor modifications for airplanes and helicopters of any category, certified under the EASA CS23, CS25, CS27 and CS29 regulations.

Additionally, we produce the engineering and manage in front of EASA the full process to certify major changes (STC’s). This enables us to encompass any associated works and validate them based on the granted certifications by EASA to S4A: EASA Part 21J DOA, EN ISO 9001 & EN 9100, along with coordinating the modification process with customer.

Our service consists of providing a turn key project that finishes with the delivery of the final revision of the documentation and a copy of the modification approval, and that if requested by customer, may include kit supply and managing modification integration and aircraft release to service.

Repairs majors and minors

S4A is certified by EASA as Part 21.J DOA (Design Organization Approval) to design repairs for any type of metallic or composite materia, for structural items (airframe, fittings, supports, etc), functional (auxiliary systems, tubing, wiring, etc) or decorative (cabin interiors, surfaces, etc.).

These actions are carried out on airplanes and helicopters of any category, certified against EASA CS23, CS25, CS27 and CS29 regulations.

Our task includes approval of repairs classified as “minor” and the management , in front of EASA, to get approval of repairs classified as “major”, and to attain the final version of the documentation to be delivered to the customer and a copy of the repair approval.

This is another of our services turn key, which includes an integral process that ends with the delivery of the final version of the documentation and the associated approval.

Validations EASA / FAA / Other aeronautical authorities

Based on the years of experience and cooperation with EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), we validate FAA approved modification in aircraft in front of EASA. Likewise, we validate in front of the FAA those originally approved by EASA.

Working process encompasses the full certification and documentation process, and the communications with the affected agencies.

S4A has own resources and experience to address the validation process in front of other Authorities in addition to EASA and the FAA.
